Conservation X Labs: Designing Challenges for Change

In 2023, Keeping Forests will launch a Conservation Design Challenge that incentivizes innovation to accelerate markets for sustainably managed forests. The afternoon will draw together the previous experiences to design prizes that will create never-before-seen opportunities for forest products and services.

Conservation X Labs are experts in designing open innovation competitions to address complex issues like wildfire management, eliminating plastic microfibers from clothing, and transforming mining practices in the rainforest. This talk will demonstrate the power of bringing solutions to wicked problems from the outside in. They will leave us with the charge of designing a set of prizes with the potential to transform forest markets.

Speakers: Paul Bunje | Co-Founder & President, Conservation X Labs
