Using wood as a building material is a sustainable material to use. Choosing wood can decrease these emissions from buildings, and contribute to a healthier environment. Therefore, wood buildings can significantly impact climate change in the long term.

The time has come to begin insisting on the use of wood and paper products in order to utilize these sustainable resources. Because only by harvesting our forests can we keep them healthy and provide economic opportunities for the landowners.

Aiming to arm the broader forestry community, including landowners, with information on the benefits of wood construction and the use of paper and packaging in all projects, which they can then use to advocate with local community leaders and decision makers.
